Terms and Conditions

All ticket sales are final except in the situation of a full event cancellation by the organizers. Subject to the provisions below for an event cancellation, there are no refunds once the tickets have been purchased. In the event of a full event cancellation, the organizers will offer refunds and will inform ticket buyers through their official websites about procedures for obtaining a refund.

By attending the Vancouver Folk Music Festival you assume full responsibility and liability for your participation and behavior on site. Bullying, harassment, and aggressive or disorderly behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the venue and the revoking of tickets. You also assume all risks and dangers incidental to the organizers, including loss or damage to property, personal injury, exposure to and illness from infectious diseases or death, and hereby forever release and discharge the organizers, and their officers, directors, employees, volunteers, contractors, agents, and representatives harmless from any claim arising from such risk, even if arising from the negligence of the organizers, or their officers, directors, employees, volunteers, contractors, agents or representatives, or by third parties.

Site wide alcohol license is in effect. Only alcohol purchased at our serving areas can be consumed on the Festival site. All bags will be inspected for alcohol and weapons prior to entering the venue. Consuming outside alcohol not purchased for the festival may result in removal from the venue. Anyone found sharing an alcoholic beverage with a minor will be required to leave the venue as required by law, and may have tickets for subsequent days revoked. The organizers are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Your tickets are being purchased from Vancouver Folk Music Festival Society (the organizer).

Tickit's services are limited to generating and delivering tickets and forwarding your payment to the organizer. Tickit’s fees for this service are non-refundable.

All communications or disputes regarding ticket order refunds, chargebacks, changes, disruptions and cancellation are between you and the organizer. Tickit will be not be liable or responsible in any way for refunds or chargebacks in connection with the organizer's events.
