Terms and Conditions

You are responsible for yourself. You assume full responsibility and liability for your participation in and attendance at the Festival. This means you also assume all risks and dangers incidental to the organizers, including loss or damage to property, personal injury, exposure to and illness from infectious diseases (including but not limited to COVID-19), or death, and hereby forever release and discharge the organizers, and their officers, directors, employees, volunteers, contractors, agents, and representatives harmless from any claim arising from such risk, even if arising from the negligence of the organizers, or their officers, directors, employees, volunteers, contractors, agents or representatives, or by third parties.

The organizers are NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.

We Like You Just the Way You Are. The organizers are committed to creating a welcoming environment in which everyone is comfortable and free from any kind of prejudice. Harassment or intimidation will not be tolerated.

All ticket sales are final except in the situation of a full event cancellation by the organizers. Subject to the provisions below for an event cancellation, there are no refunds once the tickets have been purchased. Changes to BC public health orders or the organizer's vaccination policy will not entitle tickets buyers to exchanges or refunds. In the event of a full event cancellation, the organizers will offer refunds and will inform ticket buyers through their official websites about procedures for obtaining a refund.

All bags will be inspected for alcohol and dangerous weapons before entry to the site will be permitted.

Site wide alcohol license in effect. Only alcohol purchased at our serving areas can be consumed on the Festival site. Anyone found consuming alcohol not purchased from the Festival, or found sharing an alcoholic beverage with a minor, will be required to leave the Festival site as required by law.

Loud, aggressive, or disorderly behaviour may result in removal from the venue.

Your tickets are being purchased from Vancouver Folk Music Festival Society (the organizer).

Tickit's services are limited to generating and delivering tickets and forwarding your payment to the organizer. Tickit’s fees for this service are non-refundable.

All communications or disputes regarding ticket order refunds, chargebacks, changes, disruptions and cancellation are between you and the organizer. Tickit will be not be liable or responsible in any way for refunds or chargebacks in connection with the organizer's events.
